Amirah is an independent artist with a penchant for writing infectious tunes and relatable narratives. Inspired by globally acclaimed artists such as Rihanna, Alicia Keys and Halsey; Amirah’s musical journey began at a very tender age. Being the avid story-teller that she is, the Malaysian-born (now LA-based) singer is greatly influenced by real life experiences and hardships where the majority of her inspiration would derive from, allowing her to invoke strong emotions within her listeners. Aside from that, she takes pride in being ingeniously versatile when it comes to experimenting with different musical styles ranging from Pop, R&B, Funk with a sprinkle of hip-hop elements here and there all while maintaining a consistent brand. Amirah is thoroughly involved in the creative process and the making of her art. While she enjoys collaborating with other creatives, she strives to be fully hands on with her artistic process; from composing melodies, penning the lyrics to her own songs, creative-directing her photoshoots, directing & editing her own music videos and so much more.
